Being born to immigrant parents in a small rural town in Utah, I delighted in stories told from my elders. Stories of love, grief, pain, joy, and resilience are the underbelly of this current body of work. Working primarily with hand cut paper I combine my fascination of texture, color, and movement to create images that reflect the richness of the human experience.
