"My work is a watercolor love letter to Chicago, born from twenty years of watching the city breathe through its elevated veins. I paint the L as living arteries, trains surging past brick canyons and sunlit viaducts, each car a capsule of motion and memory. Marina City spirals like twin ears of corn kissed by dusk, the Carbide and Carbon Building glows with Art Deco emerald fire, and Wrigley Field stands proud in its 1935 skin, ivy just beginning to climb. These 8x10 prints are not postcards; they are distilled moments, pigment and water holding the rumble of steel wheels and the hush of river light. From my studio, I translate the city’s relentless pulse into quiet, frameable truths, inviting viewers to carry a slice of Chicago’s soul wherever they hang."
