From the artist:

"These works are selected from my recent solo exhibition, called Sustaining Spirit which is a visual meditation on survival, transformation, and collective care. Inspired by Naomi Ortiz’s Sustaining Spirit: Self-Care for Social Justice and Carl Jung’s The Earth Has a Soul, this body of work reflects the inner and outer landscapes we navigate as a world not made for us all. My paintings live between psychology and resistance—between personal myth and political memory—where healing becomes both a spiritual and collective act.

Through vivid color, surreal composition, and intimate symbolism, these works explore how we sustain ourselves and one another in the face of oppression. A torso cracks open with flowers. A tearful faces hold grief without shame. The figure in Spirit—wrapped in the colors of the rainbow—stands alone in shadow and light, reflecting the sacredness of being seen as whole."
